Boost your protection with just a few clicks!
At Carden IT Services, we currently support over 6,000 end users across various businesses. Ensuring the security of every single account is a top priority, but asking all 6,000 users to enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on their accounts is no small task!
What is MFA and Why is it Important?
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a security feature that adds an extra layer of protection to your Office 365 account. Instead of just entering a password, MFA requires a second form of verification, such as a code sent to your mobile device. This ensures that even if your password is compromised, your account remains secure. You can learn more about MFA here: Your Multi Factor Authentication Questions Answers – Carden IT Services or check out our YouTube video here How to Set Up Multi Factor Authentication for Microsoft Office 365 that explains how it works.
How We’re Making It Easier for You
We understand that implementing security measures across a large user base can be challenging, so we’re here to help make the process as smooth as possible.
What Happens Next?
- Email – In the coming weeks, we’ll be sending an email to the key contact at each of our client organisations. This email will contain all the information you need to start enabling MFA for your colleagues. The email we send can be easily forwarded to your colleagues, and you’re free to amend the content as you see fit. This includes adjusting the date when MFA will be enforced across your organisation.
- Opt-Outs Available – If there are specific users who should not be included in the MFA enforcement, simply email us back with their details, and we’ll ensure they are omitted from the policy.
- Seamless Onboarding – Once MFA is enabled, any new users who join your company will automatically be prompted to set up MFA when they log into Office 365 for the first time. This ensures ongoing security without additional effort on your part.
Why Act Now?
Implementing MFA is one of the most effective ways to protect your organisation from cyber threats. With cyberattacks on the rise, this extra layer of security can be a game-changer. And the best part? It’s completely free to implement within your Office 365 environment!
We’re here to support you every step of the way. Keep an eye out for our email, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need assistance with the process. Let’s work together to make your Office 365 environment as secure as possible!
